If you are planning to use a song we represent in any type of upcoming Christmas project, we strongly encourage that you secure permission as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that license requests submitted after December 10, for projects occurring during the week of Christmas, will be processed in time. For licenses submitted between December 10 and December 17, you may request a rush license to guarantee licensing by the week of Christmas. Please note that a rush fee of $30.00 will be applied to your licensing total if a rush license is requested. After December 17, our team will be limited and many will be out of the office for the holidays. We will try our best to accommodate any rush license request after this day, but cannot guarantee that it can be processed. Music Services will be closed from December 23 to December 26 and will be unable to accommodate any requests submitted after 3:00PM (CST) on December 22.
CCLI License HoldersOrganizations who hold a CCLI License may report the songs that are used for Christmas services and programs under this license. However, please verify that your type of usage lines up with the CCLI License your organization holds. A CCLI Streaming License is required to live stream and/or post your service that contains a song that we represent on any church website, YouTube channel, or social media page. A CCLI Streaming Plus License is required to live stream and/or post your service that contains a master that we represent on any church website, YouTube channel, or social media page. Please be aware, projects posted to YouTube are subject to copyright claims regardless of your organization holding a CCLI Streaming/Streaming Plus License. Please refer to the below section as it pertains to claims, disputes, and appeals on YouTube.
YouTubeVideos posted to YouTube containing songs we represent do not require formal licensing. A copyright claim will be placed on your video that will cover the usage of the song we represent. If you see a copyright claim show up on your video, please do not dispute this claim unless the music used is 100% owned by you, the uploader. Unless proof is provided of song ownership, the dispute will be denied. For any denied dispute that is appealed, your appeal will be rejected and a delayed take down of your video will be issued. If you do not cancel the appeal within the takedown period, your video will be removed, a copyright strike will be placed on your channel, and some features of your channel will be disabled. If for any reason you need formal licensing documents for your video, please submit a license request. Please refer to the above section regarding the time frame on submitting requests for Christmas projects.
